Young Professionals at Risk (YPAR) Grants are dedicated to artists between the ages of 18-30 years old. This year we have revamped the process, revised the impact, and increased the available funding! These grants aim to keep young emerging artists motivated, compensated, and focused on their work during challenging financial times. All awarded grant funds MUST be used for studio space, art materials, and related expenses. Grant winners will be required to provide a 150 word synopsis on their experience and allow potential studio visits or digital interviews from the SAF team.
In 2026 there is $30,000 in grants available. 20 total grants will be issued. The applications are open to artists everywhere. Since we are giving out six times more funding than we ever have in a calendar year, the application comes with a $20 fee. This year, the recipients will receive more than funding - 5 artists will receive exhibition opportunities in downtown Los Angeles and all 20 will receive social media promotion.

four $2,500 runner up winners w/ a 4 person group show in DTLA
fifteen $1,000 honorable mention winners w/ social media promotion
